OUR OBJECTIVES

The Foundation has in its priority to effectively mobilize all existing resources as well as creating new one in order to fulfill the following foundation‟s objectives :

  1. Promoting rapid and sustainable economic growth while ensuring social progress and equality particularly in : developing agriculture and rural areas through private sectors, ensuring food security, creating new jobs, new opportunities, greater support to women, disadvantaged areas and eliminating regional and ethnic inequities
  2. Providing education and training programs to promote economic literacy to small business owners and the youth to increase their understanding in entrepreneurial endeavors and the requisite factors to succeed in the free market economy. They will be given tools and skills enabling them to realize their future as part of the growing global economy.
  3. Equalizing business environment and economic development of small-and medium-sized enterprises through direct private investment and project finance.
  4. Supporting structural reforms particularly State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) through privatization and restructuring income & export growth and developing overseas‟ niche markets to distribute local products, etc.
  5. Assisting human development and reducing inequality with priority to quantifiable access to health & education services, gender equality and improvement of ethnic & rural people‟s livelihoods. Thus, our overall focus is on urban poverty particularly healthcare, employment, income, housing, and ensuring equal access to these services.
  6. From 1999, The Millennium International Group began developing a number of charities to help people in Vietnam. Activities are mainly focused on the support of poor students; help the poor people, the elderly through difficult life.
  7. MIG has supported many poorest families in the remote areas of Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Binh Thuan, Tay Ninh, Khanh Hoa, Kien Giang, Tien Giang, Hau Giang, An Giang, Dong Thap, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Quang Binh provinces… etc. Many programs were appreciated, this is a force for MIG continue to contribute to charitable and social activities in Vietnam. These activities will focus on helping people in remote areas, the new economic zone – education – public health – social services and vocational tranning for
    youths.

CHARITY PROGRAMS DURING THE LAST 20 YEARS

  1. Provide emergency assistance to meet urgent or short term needs of people with chronic illnesses required hospitalization and/or intensive care and medicines and foods distribution to disaster victims from floods, fires, drought, etc.
  2. Provide long-term & periodic financial aid and medical assistance and food distribution to needy people living in the remote areas of southern Vietnam including but not limited to orphanages, aged and disable persons.
  3. Provide long-term clothing, tuition, school supplies, and lunches for school-aged children of poor families in remote areas in Southern and Central Vietnam.
  4. Each needed family received $ 45 USD per month
    15 kg- 50 kg bag of rice per month
    2 to 5 instant noodle boxes
    2 bottles of soy sauce
    2 bottles of fish sauce
    1 kg of sodium glutemate
    1 kg of sugar
    1 kg of salt
